Kevin and Allyse had a magically unique day, very genuine to who they are as a couple. I feel lucky to have been a part of it!

This bridal party was a blast! We ended up with about 20 minutes for photos and it was raining. These guys killed it!!

Most memorable moment?

Allyse: Walking out to start down the aisle and seeing everyone who was there, and our bridal already standing at the front. It felt like the culmination of why Kevin and I wanted a wedding; to create a space for our families and friends to join together.

Kevin: When the time came to read the vows I had written for my wife. Public speaking is always tough for me, and I did not want to embarrass myself in front of a big crowd. Before I began my vows, I looked my wife-to-be straight in the eyes, and I remembered in that moment why we were getting married. It calmed me. It made my vows the easiest words I spoke that night.

Most hilarious moment?

Nothing sticks out to us specifically. We really just had a super fun time overall.

What is the best thing you did in preparation for the wedding?

Taking off time from work both before and after the wedding. Having a few days to settle in and send last minute follow up emails to vendors without also checking work emails alleviated a lot of stress.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

What was most helpful to us was having a strong idea of what we liked and what was important to us, and then researching vendors that seemed to match our style. It let us trust day of details to the experienced professionals. When things inevitably went awry, we had people who could go with the flow and still make it feel like our day. It helped calm our day of nerves so much.

Where are you honeymooning?

We’re doing a “minimoon” in Cleveland, since we live out of town, but are planning a trip to Hawaii in March.
