Lovely, classy, goofy, and kind all wrapped into one awesome couple. I was pretty lucky to watch a bit of their story unfold. They are the kind of people that remind me THIS is why I photograph weddings... to be a part of a wonderful life story. Chris is so photogenic, I had a blast taking his portraits. Stephanie knows what she wants in life. It is such an admirable quality. This bridal party was awesome. The girls were totally sweet and welcoming and the guys were hilarious. I will give you ONE GUESS who the goofball/troublemaker is... ;) After witnessing her dance moves, I wish we were best friends. ;D Chris & Stephanie, THANK YOU for trusting me with your wedding. It was a pleasure to witness your love and be completely welcomed by your family and friends. All my best, enjoy your new life together! Hair: Melissa at Vaughn & Company Makeup: Tasha at Sephora Florist: Lori Reilly DJ: Bill Bowen of Cleveland Music Group Cake: Tiffany's Bakery Dresses: David's Bridal Photo Booth: inFocus Buckeyes: Chocolates by Erin Ceremony: Bath Church UCC Reception: Hilton Akron/Fairlawn What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Stephanie: Chris squeezing my hands and giving me smiles and winks during the ceremony. Chris: The "reveal"/ Stephanie walking down the aisle. Any advice for future brides and grooms? Keep it simple, prioritize what you both want, and really focus on those things. Most hilarious moment of your day? During my sister's (the maid of honor's) toast, we found out that she and my mom had accidentally discovered that Chris and I had ordered an engagement ring about 4 months before Chris actually proposed - but they never told us about that before the reception! And our nephews Kylan and Kaleb dancing the night away, being the most frequent visitors to the photobooth, and staying up past midnight because they wanted to be there until the end of the party! What is the best thing you did in preparation for your wedding day? First - having Kristine as our photographer! She's excellent at her job and really made our day so much more enjoyable, and was so easy to work with. And also taking the time to come up with a pretty detailed budget and taking stock of all of the expenses that we expected to incur. We referenced the budget throughout the planning process and kept it updated, and it really helped us to stay on track and also to know how much we were spending in total. Going along with that, we made sure to prioritize what was really important for us and we didn't get bogged down with lots of extra unnecessary things. Where did you honeymoon? Hawaii (Honolulu, Kauai, and Maui) Anything else? We're so happy with the way our wedding day turned out - we got extremely lucky with the weather, and everything was beautiful and went smoothly. It was amazing to have so many friends and family come together to celebrate with us. It went by quickly but was so much fun!
